The dress & the bike

The dress that I would eventually diet to fit in (never did before it became very outdated); very fine pesto from Italy that has been stored for a special occasion until it reached its expiration date; same with a special bottle of wine from France to be opened.. and turn out to be already vinegar.

Beautiful blue bicycle that was delivered specially for another city, plan was to use it for commute but I was too late and too lazy and no shower at the office and then COVID hit and the bike serves as building hall decor for many years.

Two different pesos

Mexico trip, a visit to an artisan market. Responsible as I am, I do check the peso to euro exchange rate and marvel at how CHEAP everything is. I buy so many souvenirs and then notice — hm, the purse is empty. And I had exchanged 200 euros just that morning.

And then I got it. It was the wrong peso in Google. Philippine peso, not Mexican peso. So these gorgeous earrings were not 8 euros, they were 50 euros. This hand-embroidered handkerchief was NOT 5 euros. And so on…
Oh well. But I do wear the earrings.
